Bella Figura is known around the world for lighting of the highest quality and offers a wide range of decorative designs for both contemporary and traditional interiors. It is this quality of product and design that has proved a constant attraction to its worldwide clientele from renowned interior designers to major hotel groups.
Lighting is continually in a state of development with a wider use of new materials and effects coupled with an increasingly demanding market. Bella Figura has always been in the forefront of this movement with its emphasis on lighting design, detailing and originality. From chandeliers and lanterns; co-ordinating wall lights; table and floor lamps, to a vast array of lampshade finishes including natural suede and Irish linen, Bella Figura have provided ‘the’ choice for its discerning clientele.
Bella Figura have adapted and redesigned their traditional chandeliers collection; improving the quality of crystal used and adding gut glass cups under the candle tubes dripping with more crystal for glamour and sparkle. Multi coloured oversized mouth blown Murano glass fruit adorn a whimsical collection of wall lights and chandeliers, while finishes such as chrome and silver leaf give a traditional crystal chandelier a new more modern look. With their traditional roots, Bella Figura is continually looking at how lighting designs and materials of old can be used in more modern ways. This is evident in a striking collection of Murano glass Chandeliers, wall lights and table lamps in both traditional Venetian styles and sleek contemporary designs, employing centuries old techniques of Italian master glass blowers.
In September 2007, a new collection of Eglomise table lamps was launched in a palette of 16 colours inspired by rocks, gemstones and minerals from around the world. With colours such as Turkish Rose and Moroccan Pink to Bolivian Yellow and Opal White the colours are available on five lamp options – Camellia, Tulip, Jasmine, Orchid and Peony.
The first Designer Lighting Collection has also just been launched with ‘The LINLEY Collection’, an exciting development for Bella Figura. This is a unique collection of table, desk and floor lamps designed exclusively for Bella Figura. These unique designs have been inspired by a collection of antique woodworking tools owned by David Linley himself.
Lighting serves two purposes. It must not only be functional and illuminate the room, but also look stylish and enhance the decoration of that room. No longer can lighting be considered as just the finishing touch, it must stand out on its own as an integral element of design within an interior scheme. Lighting really has come out of the dark.
